The Resident Meal Plan options are designed to meet the needs of any active college student. As a student you have a choice of three meal plans, each with three different tiers. These provide you a guaranteed number of meals per week. Each of the meal plans includes Munch Money, or declining balance, dollars that are subtracted from your Munch Money account each time you select that payment option. Munch Money works like a credit card only in reverse. The Munch Money value with the meal plan you choose is entered onto your card into the computer system. Each time you make a Munch Money purchase, our computer will deduct the amount of the that purchase from your account. All students living in the residence halls must be on a meal plan.
Nicholls Dining serves a total of nineteen meals a week; three meals a day on Monday through Friday, and two a day on Saturday and Sunday. When choosing a meal plan, consider how many meals a day you like to eat, and the number of days a week that you will be dining on campus.
The nineteen meal plans offer access to the cafeteria for any meal period. These are the ONLY plans that allow automatic access to EVERY meal served in the dining hall. The fifteen meal plans allow the student to eat any fifteen meals during the couse of a week, and the ten meal plans allow for only ten meals each week.
Nicholls Dining is excited to offer new options for the meal plans that will allow students much more flexibility in their dining choices. With the new GOLD and PLATINUM Meal Plan options, students have more Munch Money for use in the Retail Dining Facilities or to treat their friends.
With an average of 102 days in a semester, students can feel confident that they will have at least three delicious meals every day, for under $10 per day.
